  • Capacity to moderate results to national standards
  • Demonstrated understanding of the FETAC requirements for quality assurance of assessment and authentication
  • Completion of the required training.

Kerry Education Service is encouraging all suitably qualified teachers/tutors to apply. This is an external process as KES is not involved in the selection and you are advised to refer to the FETAC website for more information.

Level 3 Programme Descriptors

All level 3 awards have now been migrated to the Common Award System (CAS). The former module descriptors are no longer valid as FETAC have published the Certificate and Component Specification for each award. Component Specifications are not Programme Descriptors. The Component Specification states the standards for the award while the Programme Descriptor provides details of the learning experience and specifies indicative content for each learning outcome. If you are not sure about delivering a Programme please contact your Programme Coordinator immediately.

KES Programme Descriptors will be available on the Intranet soon
